CHRISTIAN WALLUMRØD’s Japansk Koral is perceived as a meditation over a 3-tone chord progression with a recurring rhythm, whose tonality is coloured by the interval of a minor second.
The experience evokes associations keyboards, alternating with chordal
episodes and sounds played directly on the strings inside the piano.
Here she presents a sample of the extended world of sound that a
simple piano can offer.
